VIGNONI CALZE E COLLANT
VMC - VIGNONI was founded in 1957 by the Vignoni family. They still have full ownership of the business today, which is now run by its second generation of family members.
The company has three manufacturing sites: two in Italy (in the Castel Goffredo region, the most famous tights producing district in the world, where Italian hosiery and tights manufacture were born and developed) and one abroad, occupying a total area of 45,000 m² and providing work for more than 400 employees.
Thanks to a fully vertically integrated production process, the company is able to ensure constant and effective control over every stage of manufacturing. The process begins in the Style and Design Department, dedicated to research and development, and continues through the knitting division, which operates a fleet of 400 machines with a daily production capacity of up to 200,000 pairs of socks. The products then move on to the seaming, dyeing, and finally the packaging departments.
