Bando Collabora e Innova
Funded by the Regional Programme under the European Regional Development Fund 2021–2027 of the Lombardy Region – PR ERDF 2021–2027.
The TexRenew project aims to recover and recycle post-industrial waste from the production of socks, tights, and underwear, transforming it into new nylon yarn. The goal is to recover approximately 50% of the 350,000 kg of waste generated annually, achieving a high recycling yield and using the recovered material to create new products based on circular economy and eco-design principles. The project also includes the integration of digital systems to support the Digital Product Passport.
